Welcome to the official website for Merlin Tattooing, based in Dover Kent.
Merlin Tattooing was opened in 1991 by Nick Taylor, Nick ran the studio until 2001 when he unfortunately passed away, Nick’s apprentice Sean Sparks continued to run and ultimately brought the studio in 2006.
Since then the studio has gone from strength to strength, welcoming new artists and enjoying massive changes in the industry.
Merlin Tattooing is now one of the oldest running and most popular tattoo studios in the Kent area, with a large and varied client base.
Merlin Tattooing was situated at 34 London Road for over 20 years, and has since moved to 47 High Street, Dover. We regularly welcome guest artists from all older the world.

Gift Voucher Terms And Conditions
All our usual terms and conditions and policies apply to Gift Certificates (also referred to as Gift Vouchers.). These terms and conditions will also apply to the purchase and redemption of our Gift Certificates. The use of gift vouchers fall under the following terms and conditions:
Gift Certificates are non transferable.
Gift Certificates ordered via our online service will be delivered automatically by electronic means to the email address you specify at the time of order. Our Gift Certificates include unique numbers and configurable patterns.
When ordering a Gift Certificate, you should ensure to enter the recipient’s email address correctly. We cannot be held responsible if the address is entered incorrectly and someone other than the intended recipient uses the Gift Certificate.
All Gift Certificates are dated and expire 12 months from the date of issue. (all gift certificates purchased during covid closures will be extended for however long we have to remain closed)
Gift Certificates cannot be exchanged for cash.
We are not responsible if a Gift Certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission and no replacement will be provided in these circumstances.
